PNM has a variety of programs to help customers be more energy efficient, save on their energy bills, and understand how to reduce electricity use.

  • PNM Home Energy Checkup:
We give customers a snapshot of their residential electricity cost; install a programmable thermostat and other energy saving items and help pinpoint opportunities to reduce electric usage. The assessment reviews everything from window seals, to appliances to insulation and identifies additional rebates.

PNM has already recycled more than 60,000 refrigerators. That equals 7.5 million pounds of steel, 1.7 million pounds of plastic, 180,000 pounds of glass, some of which can be used to produce computers or asphalt, or even help clean up oil spills in the ocean. Thanks to PNM’s program, these materials don’t end up in landfills.
